π Service Request Form
During storms: Dispatch is staffed 24/7. Outside storms: MonβFri, 7:00aβ5:30p. After hours (non-storm), use the Emergency line.
β Pre-Storm Preparation
β±οΈ We may pretreat surfaces 1β2 days in advance to prevent bonding.
- π§ͺ Liquids used: brine or brine/calcium mix (as conditions require).
π¨οΈ During a Storm
- βοΈ Under 1β β treated with de-icer.
- π Over 1β β plowing begins.
Daytime π Lanes, storefronts, docks, entrances/exits, and main walks remain open and treated as needed.
Night π Full lot push; walks opened before business; de-icer applied as needed.
π§Ή Final Cleanup (After Snow Ends)
- β³ Cleanup begins once snowfall stops (may take several hours).
- βοΈ Parking lots and drive lanes cleared full width (equipment stays ~36β³ from vehicles).
- πͺπ§― Walks, cart corrals, rear doors, and fire exits cleared and treated.
π Post-Storm Pushbacks
- π¬ Commercial/Shopping Centers β pushbacks performed overnight.
- π‘ HOA Communities β pushbacks performed during daytime.
- π§ Ice melt applied where needed, including newly cleared areas.
β οΈ Refreeze Monitoring
- π§ Sites are checked during freezeβthaw cycles.
- β° Special focus overnight and early morning (before 5:00 AM).
π When to Call Dispatch
β Call if:
- π§ Entrances, exits, or fire lanes are blocked.
- β οΈ Slip hazard exists (black ice, untreated walkway).
- π Deliveries or emergency access are impacted.
- π§ Service appears outside the standards above.
β No need to call if:
- π¨οΈ Snow is still actively falling (crews are working).
- π οΈ Cleanup is in progress (post-storm work can take hours).
- π Cars are blocking areas (handled during pushbacks).
