During storms: Dispatch is staffed 24/7. Outside storms: Mon–Fri, 7:00a–5:30p. After hours (non-storm), use the Emergency line.

⏱️ We may pretreat surfaces 1–2 days in advance to prevent bonding.

  • πŸ§ͺ Liquids used: brine or brine/calcium mix (as conditions require).

🌨️ During a Storm

  • ❄️ Under 1” β†’ treated with de-icer.
  • 🚜 Over 1” β†’ plowing begins.
Daytime πŸ•˜ Lanes, storefronts, docks, entrances/exits, and main walks remain open and treated as needed.
Night πŸŒ™ Full lot push; walks opened before business; de-icer applied as needed.

🧹 Final Cleanup (After Snow Ends)

  • ⏳ Cleanup begins once snowfall stops (may take several hours).
  • ↔️ Parking lots and drive lanes cleared full width (equipment stays ~36β€³ from vehicles).
  • πŸšͺ🧯 Walks, cart corrals, rear doors, and fire exits cleared and treated.

πŸ”„ Post-Storm Pushbacks

  • 🏬 Commercial/Shopping Centers β†’ pushbacks performed overnight.
  • 🏑 HOA Communities β†’ pushbacks performed during daytime.
  • πŸ§‚ Ice melt applied where needed, including newly cleared areas.

⚠️ Refreeze Monitoring

  • 🧊 Sites are checked during freeze–thaw cycles.
  • ⏰ Special focus overnight and early morning (before 5:00 AM).

βœ… Call if:

  • 🚧 Entrances, exits, or fire lanes are blocked.
  • ⚠️ Slip hazard exists (black ice, untreated walkway).
  • 🚚 Deliveries or emergency access are impacted.
  • 🧭 Service appears outside the standards above.

❌ No need to call if:

  • 🌨️ Snow is still actively falling (crews are working).
  • πŸ› οΈ Cleanup is in progress (post-storm work can take hours).
  • πŸš— Cars are blocking areas (handled during pushbacks).
